ZeroWhey is a specially formulated wheat flour blended with high-quality plant protein isolates to deliver 28g of protein per 100g — roughly 3× more than regular atta. It looks, feels, and cooks exactly like the flour you're used to, but every roti, paratha, or cheela now actively works toward your daily protein target.
Regular whole-wheat atta contains about 9–11g of protein per 100g. ZeroWhey contains 28g per 100g — achieved by fortifying premium wheat with protein isolates. Unlike chalky protein powders that require shakes or supplements, ZeroWhey fits seamlessly into your everyday Indian cooking. No scoops, no shakers — just your regular kitchen routine.
No — that's the whole point. ZeroWhey is engineered to be neutral in taste and aroma so your rotis and parathas taste exactly as they should. There's no bitter aftertaste, no beany smell, and no unusual texture. Most customers say they can't tell any difference from their regular flour.
Yes. ZeroWhey is 100% vegetarian. It is made from wheat and plant-derived protein sources with no animal-based ingredients. Vegans can use it freely as part of their daily diet.
One standard roti uses approximately 30g of flour, which gives you around 8–9g of protein per roti. Eat 3–4 rotis across your meals and you're already hitting 25–35g of protein from food you'd have eaten anyway — no extra supplements needed.
Absolutely. High-protein diets are clinically associated with greater satiety (keeping you fuller for longer), reduced calorie consumption, and improved lean muscle retention. Whether your goal is losing fat while preserving muscle, or building muscle from training, ZeroWhey makes it easier to consistently hit your protein target through everyday meals rather than relying on willpower alone.
ZeroWhey has a lower net carbohydrate profile compared to plain atta due to the partial replacement of starch with protein. Many of our customers with diabetes find it a better choice for blood sugar management. However, we always recommend consulting your doctor or registered dietitian before making significant dietary changes, especially if you are on medication.
Yes — ZeroWhey is a wheat-based flour and contains gluten. It is not suitable for people with Coeliac disease or a clinically diagnosed gluten intolerance. If you have gluten sensitivity, please consult your healthcare provider before use.
Yes — in most recipes you can substitute ZeroWhey at a 1:1 ratio for your regular atta. It works beautifully for rotis, parathas, theplas, cheelas, puris, and even breads. For baking (cakes, cookies), you may need to adjust water content slightly as protein-enriched flour can absorb a little more liquid. We recommend adding water gradually until you reach your usual dough consistency.
Slightly, yes — and this is expected. Higher protein content means the flour absorbs water a bit differently. If your dough feels stiffer than usual, simply add a tablespoon of water at a time and knead until it reaches your preferred softness. After a resting period of 10–15 minutes, you'll find the dough becomes more pliable and rolls out just as smoothly.
ZeroWhey excels in: Rotis & Phulkas (everyday staple, perfect texture), Parathas (stuffed or plain — crispy on the outside, soft inside), Cheelas (thin crepe-style pancakes, great for high-protein breakfast), Theplas, Missi Roti, Bread Loaves, and Pancakes. Basically, any recipe that calls for regular wheat flour.
Store ZeroWhey in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight — the same conditions you'd use for regular flour. Once opened, keep it in an airtight container to maintain freshness. The shelf life is printed on each pack; typically 6–9 months from the date of manufacture when stored properly.
ZeroWhey is currently available in 1 kg and 5 kg packs. The 5 kg pack offers the best value per rupee and is ideal for families or serious athletes who go through flour quickly. Subscribe and save options are available for hassle-free monthly replenishment.
